Irish National Road Projects 2020-2024

The impression has been created that the present Government has embarked on large-scale public transport projects. In fact, most of these are draft proposals. 

The commitment to rail is largely rhetorical and former Taoiseach Leo Varadkar stated that the road programme remains the primary focus of Government transport policy.

This video (Part I) will deal with two of the latest road projects (Dunkettle interchange, Co. Cork and N5 Westport to Turlough, Co. Mayo) and a future video will deal with the Macroom, Moycullen and Listowel By-Passes.
