The Irish Bulletin
From 1919 to 1921, Dáil Éireann's Department of Propaganda (later named the Department of Publicity) ran a bulletin which helped to break down the "paper wall" which the British Empire erected around Ireland by means of censorship and black propaganda.
Distributed in North and South America and various countries in Europe via the Dáil's foreign envoys, the Irish parliament's official gazette allowed foreign journalists access to the Irish account of affairs, which was suppressed by the British, sometimes with violence.
